It starts with black paper.
The personality comes from your pet.

I use colored pencils to draw each portrait by hand, working from your favorite photograph. Against the dark paper, every little detail has room to stand out.

Choose black and white or full color. Either way, it’s an original drawing of a face you know by heart.

Hi, I’m Cal.

I’ve recently started a small art venture called Cal Pet Portraits.

I create custom, hand-drawn pet portraits using colored pencils on black paper. It’s something I’ve really enjoyed doing, and I’m excited to start making portraits for other people, too.
